This wonderful brooches design takes its inspiration from the art deco styling of the roaring twenties. An elegantly simple silver rectangle is adorned with three different coloured smooth amber beads.

Since Neolithic times amber has been highly desired due to its colour and natural beauty. Amber is made from fossilized tree resin and can sometimes contain small insects and animals. It can very much been seen as nature’s time capsule. It’s ability to preserve material has given modern day scientist not only detailed information about insects and creatures alive millions of years ago but also historic climate information for the regions in which the amber has been found.
