Our silver ammonite cufflinks are a great way to show off your love of science and nature. Whether you go digging for fossils on the weekend or want a slice of natural history on your sleeve, these cufflinks will infuse your look with that sophistication you've been searching for. As a naturally occurring example of the fibonacci sequence the luxurious polished finish highlights the mathematical magic found in these eye catching fossil inspired swirls. The Ammonite is probably the most well-known fossil of all and they have been used by experts to date other significant fossil finds. The Ammonite first appeared an incredible 240 million years ago and was still going strong right up to the "extinction event" 65 million years ago. These predatory squid like creatures grew coil shaped shells, some growing to over a meter in diameter, lived in schools and propelled themselves using jets of water. A true survivor amongst its kind and now captured in amazing detail in our sterling silver cufflinks. As you’d expect from Martha Jackson, our sterling silver ammonite cufflinks are made from premium recycled sterling silver. Gifting should be easy, so we've done all the hard work. And because we want to be kind to your skin, they are nickel free and hypoallergenic. All our jewellery comes Gift ready. Refine the art of gifting with Martha Jackson.
